Liquid culture - premix 1000ml


1. Mix together 20g of premix powder per 500ml with clean water in a suitable bottle for steam sterilisation.

2. Sterilized at 121 celcius degrees 15-20 min.

3. Cool down to atmospheric pressure and remove from autoclave/pressure cooker in front of LAF/clean room bench.

4. Allow the liquid medium mixture to rest for 4 days, then perform a quality check of the liquid medium on the petri dish.

5. If/when the liquid medium is confirmed clean, then the desired culture can be added to the liquid medium.

6. It is recommended to test for purity after added culture.

Liquid culture pre-mix

1. Add 20g of pre-mix powder with 500ml of clean water in a suitable container for steam sterilization.

2. Sterilize at 121celcius degrees for 15-20min.

3. Cool down to atmospheric pressure and remove from autoclave/pressure cooker in front of LAF/clean room bench

4. Let the liquid medium mixture rest for 4 days, then carry out a quality check of the liquid medium in the petri dish.

5. If/when the liquid medium is confirmed clean, then the desired culture can be added to the liquid medium.

6. It is recommended to test for purity after added culture.
